Retail Lead
Job Summary of Retail Lead:
The position involves assisting management by handling essential operational tasks like managing the cash register, executing opening and closing protocols, and acting as the designated Leader on Duty (LOD). The primary responsibilities include maintaining the brand’s image, cultivating favorable interactions with customers, guaranteeing compliance with visual and operational guidelines, and encouraging team participation and growth.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Lead:
- Aid in nurturing skills by conducting training sessions for employees, focusing on delivering real-time coaching dialogues
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to tackle performance issues among employees
- Engage in and back all organizational training and growth programs
- Cultivate a constructive workplace atmosphere and deliver clear, impartial evaluations promptly
- Evaluate performance regularly and offer suitable feedback on a daily basis, as well as during the yearly performance evaluation
- Encourage and empower team members to cultivate strong customer connections that lead to brand loyalty and foster a welcoming store atmosphere
- Exemplify and showcase outstanding customer support while upholding elevated store expectations
- Present The Children’s Place in a favorable and polished light
- Assist the management team in optimizing productivity by utilizing operational expertise and enhancing customer service
- Engage in the Leader on Duty (LOD) initiative to boost profits and enhance customer contentment
- Process payroll weekly
- Adjust timetable according to market conditions
- Supporting the upkeep of a tidy and well-arranged stockroom to enhance productivity
- Complying with Ensure Environment (CRE) standards and safety protocols is essential to uphold environmental regulations and ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Lead:
- Obtaining a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Having worked in retail for a period ranging from one to three years
- You need to be a minimum of 18 years old
- Exceptional abilities in interacting with customers and effectively communicating with them
- Proficiency in organizing and assigning priority to tasks while collaborating effectively within a team setting
- Possessing a keen eye for detail along with effective time management and organizational abilities
- Capable of lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds and navigating around the retail floor and storage area
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and capable of adjusting to in-house platforms
- Available at various times including weekends and evenings

Salary:
The hourly pay ranges from $14.30 to $19.15
