Job Summary of Customer Experience Manager:

In charge of leading teams within brick-and-mortar stores to increase sales, foster brand loyalty, and provide outstanding customer service. This role involves overseeing the recruitment process, nurturing talent, and executing store strategies while maintaining financial accountability. Builds and cultivates a high-performing, self-sufficient team dedicated to meeting objectives and supporting brand aspirations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Customer Experience Manager:

  • Engage in comprehensive recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies by leveraging all available tools and resources.
  • Facilitate the advancement of future leaders through mentorship programs for internal staff and networking initiatives to identify external talent for succession preparation.
  • Ensure the continuity of a top-notch, inclusive team through strategic approaches in recruitment, growth, and motivation.
  • Establish transparent goals and monitor progress using key business metrics.
  • Aid in the development and coaching of employees to meet store and corporate objectives.
  • Assess performance and apply coherent feedback or actions that are consistent with performance expectations.
  • Model and champion exceptional customer service approaches.
  • Encourage team members to inspire customer allegiance and nurture a welcoming retail environment.
  • Take on the responsibility of setting a standard for excellence and maintaining the brand’s integrity.
  • Develop effective store scheduling strategies to maximize staffing utilization, align with business objectives, and regulate expenses related to payroll.
  • Educate staff members on established operating procedures and ensure their consistent compliance.
  • Organize and carry out floor arrangements in compliance with brand expectations, promoting collaboration and inventiveness.
  • Improve sales outcomes and create a positive shopping environment through the implementation of the Leader on Duty (LOD) strategy.
  • Ensure that the merchandise is presented, signs are placed, and visual displays are organized as per the company’s standards.
  • Protect business valuables by ensuring strict adherence to Loss Prevention policies.

Qualifications and Experience of Customer Experience Manager:

  • High school completion or an equivalent certificate is obligatory, and a Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
  • Skilled in boosting revenue streams, executing visual merchandising plans, and crafting effective sales growth tactics.
  • Effective leadership encompasses engaging customers, empowering talent, optimizing visual displays, and ensuring smooth store operations.
  • Exhibiting a strategic mindset and a documented ability to recruit high-performing team members.
  • Excelling in the abilities of clear communication, smooth facilitation, and engaging presentation delivery.
  • Skill in inspiring, mentoring, and motivating team members irrespective of their hierarchical positions.
  • Capability in analyzing financial reports and leveraging the information to make sound business decisions.
  • Extensive familiarity with the retail market’s landscape.
  • Experienced in operational strategy planning and execution.
  • Accommodating changes in priorities and proficient in working within a dynamic environment.
  • Shows proficiency in time management and adept organizational skills.
  • Displays financial responsibility and mastery in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Openness to learning and adapting to internal applications and systems.
  • Flexible availability for work, including weekends and evenings.
  • Physically adept at moving through the sales floor and stockroom, using ladders, and carrying loads of up to 50 lbs.
